Thee Oh Sees are a band that likes to experiment but never abandons their signature sound. This album shows that by putting all the upbeat kraut-garage-psych songs on the A-side and the weird tracks on the B-side. Generally, the B-side is better and I suspect that this album's poor reputation has to do with people not really paying attention that long, or just not being down with the Oh Sees brand of experimenation. But however, this album is very good, almost every track will be remembered by you and will sit in your head for a long time.
