This is a sad depressing breakup album for sad depressed broken up people. Mostly it is mellow and acoustic and woodsy like the cover art. It has an offbeat experimental edge which makes it an interesting listen. Vol. 2 is far from perfect in many ways. If you were to listen to each track and review them individually you’d find a fair bit of mediocrity or just decent but nothing special tracks however listening to the album as a whole is a very emotional experience. It’s lyrically spectacular and the placement of tracks especially the final three is done so brilliantly it’s heartbreaking.
Whilst Vol. 2 can be quite middling at points, as a whole it may be a (imperfect) masterpiece. The highlight of the album might be the Pink Floyd cover
If you don`t dig the more experimental instrumentals
Songs About Death and Dying Vol. 4: Get StovedWay more avant garde, almost entirely instrumental, more harsh noise
