Thee Oh Sees supposedly two EPs (never separately released) stuck together. Whatever, it sounds like a cohesive electric onslaught and rumbles forward at a slightly less frantic pace than what you might expect from this band. The rhythm section is driving and steady and include some of the best Petey Dammit basslines ever recorded. Thee Oh Sees seem like they mean business, and proved it by taking a break from goofing around to leave us with this powerful monolith of psychedelic rock.
